There are several things I loved about this book and a couple of things that I didn’t like.
Things I liked include safety around dogs, a short, fun description of some of the more popular breeds, and things that make dogs unique in the animal kingdom.
I did not care for the slight bias for mixed breeds and shelter purchases. There was one big omission from the list of things not to feed a dog.
Overall, this is a nice addition to your library. It has fun quotes and jokes in between chapters. It also has some fairly innocuous training tips. Parents need to read with their children and discuss different options, but that is something that should be done, anyway.
